Forgiving yourself is still the main theme and Kathleen Morgan presents it in a more palatable form with these characters. KATHLEEN IS SUCH A GREAT WRITER. I LOVE THE WAY YOU WRITE ABOUT ANYTHING INCLUDING SEX BUT IT IS ALL CLEAN. MAKES READING YOUR BOOKS EASIER WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE ALL THE TRASH TALK.
Each of these stories are beautiful stories of love and forgiveness and giving everything to God, accepting His love and forgiveness. We all need reminders of these things.
I Love any thing that Kathleen Morgan writes ! Her stories are always so romantic ! I have read All her books except for this one ! It was good ! I Love her Child of the Mist and the other books in that series ! She is my most favorite author !!!!!!!
I love this series and the characters are folks I might want to know. Once again, the juvenile drama is like a soap opera and I would've enjoyed it so much more without it. The audience for these books is more mature and smart than it is really written for. Thanks for the good stories and people and the Christian viewpoint and moral wholesomeness of this series tho.
After reading the whole Brides of Culdee Creek series, I still wanted to read more. I was delighted to find that she wrote a culdee creek Christmas story. It was sweet, but I was disappointed in the straight forward plot. You knew exactly what was coming. My other disappointment was wondering what happened to Devlin and Hannah and some of the other characters from the former stories. I wished she took a few pages to give a brief overview of what took place in the time lapse. All in all, it's a sweet story.
While I enjoyed revisiting Culdee Creek in this story I feel like I'm left hanging and she didn't withheld lots from us. The story she told was enjoyable...what she told. The last two books in this series are just not developed fully like the first 3. For $5 I expect to have more then an evening read and that's all this story was. Very shallow story telling. The last two Culdee Creek books have left me feeling cheated. Let's get back to really developing and telling a story versus getting a manuscript out there for the kindle audience, shall we? Please?
A very good book about a young woman and her daughter heading west to escape bad memories of a first marriage and an unkind mother in law. With the promised job withdrawn, being and forced to work in a private home as a nurse, the grumpy son soon changes his ways after their arrival.
